Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned Evaluation Process
In order to receive the certified pre-owned title, a Cadillac must meet strict mechanical and appearance standards. You can rest assured knowing that an expertly-trained technician has gone over every part of every CPO Cadillac, from examining its vehicle history report to performing a comprehensive 172-point inspection and reconditioning process. This inspection includes:

1. IMPORTANT RECALL INFORMATION: Before a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle is listed or sold, GM requires dealers to complete all safety recalls. However, because even the best processes can break down, we encourage you to check the recall status of any vehicle at https://my.gm.com/recalls.
Vehicles are not eligible to be Certified Pre-Owned vehicles unless the dealer first performs any needed recall repairs. GM has instructed its dealers to check for recalls and perform any needed repairs before listing any vehicle as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Because of timing issues, or because of dealer error, it is still possible that a vehicle listed on this website needs a recall repair. To check for yourself whether any vehicle on this website needs a recall repair which has not been performed, type in the Vehicle Identification Number at https://my.gm.com/recalls.

5. All Cadillac vehicles come with a New Vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper limited warranty that provides coverage for 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. Upon expiration of the New Vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper limited warranty, the Cadillac Certified Pre-Owned Warranty coverage begins, providing a full year of coverage with unlimited mileage. If the New Vehicle Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty is expired when the vehicle gets sold, the full year of coverage begins upon sale.
6. 1 year/unlimited miles after expiration of the new vehicle limited bumper warranty or upon sale if Bumper-to-Bumper warranty is already expired.
