What Is the GM Family First Discount?
The GM Family First program extends our regular employee discount to family members of GM team members. We recognize that our employees have families of their own to take care of, and having the right car is important for keeping them satisfied. That’s why we help your family purchase and lease GM vehicles at a lower price point.

How Does It Work?
When an eligible family member of a GM employee purchases or leases a vehicle, they’ll have the GM Family First discount applied automatically. This applies whether you’ve driven a model in our showroom or you’re ordering a custom vehicle via our web portal. Most GM vehicles, including new and pre-owned models, are eligible for this discount.

Who Is Eligible?
This discount applies to immediate family members of current GM employees, including partners, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, and grandchildren. Step-family members are also included in this program. For retired GM employees with longer service records or widows / widowers of a GM employee, you have access to a reduced eligibility window for the GM Family First discount.
